Are you leaving in early or mid-August? No problem. We are looking to hire a college student NOW until the time you leave! Compensation: $17 to start or DOE employment type: full time Immediate Opening: Laborer (Juneau) Immediate opening available. Work will start now and continue through the time you have to leave for school. Pay Rate: Starting $17 per hour or DOE **You get paid weekly - work week runs Sunday through Saturday and you are paid the following Tuesday. Direct deposit is available. Job Description: We are looking for a laborer that: - Can follow directions -both verbal and written. -Will WORK SAFE – and SMART. -Will show up on time. -Will work hard. -Can perform quality work. -Can work quickly. -Has initiative – i.e., you don’t stand around waiting to be told to do something. -Has a good attitude. The laborer will perform some landscape duties - i.e. mowing, weeding, pruning, using a blower, etc. Other duties could include pressure washing, painting - inside and outside, cleaning, and general repair. We are looking for a person that is autonomous and flexible. Every week the job may change, due to the needs of our clients. The person we hire must be able to shift from job to job, duty to duty at a moment's notice. You may be required to work on the weekend. ➡You will be working OUTSIDE - so rain gear may be necessary. The base pay for this position starts at $17 per hour. If you can demonstrate any of your work experiences - i.e. prior mowing or weeding experience or another valuable skill you have, your starting pay could be adjusted. **Raises may be given during the summer based on your attendance, work performance, and willingness to work. Dependability, work ethic, experience, attitude, and your ability to follow verbal and written instructions are all key factors in earning more money per hour.
