Description

The Wesley Community Service Center - Back-to-SchoolCommunity Event. The Lions Club will be on-site to do eye screens on children up to age 18. Each child will be given bookbags and school supplies. On site we will also have fun games and activites for children up to age 18. Children must be registered. Please call to register your children. 757.399.0541 The Wesley Community Service Center, Inc. provides multiple programs and support for urgent and unmet individual, family and community needs in the South-side of Portsmouth Virginia. Established in 1937, the center began as Methodist Women in Portsmouth joined to form a city mission board that would become involved in community needs and social issues. The Center is now in its eighty third year of service and ministry.
