We are dedicated to promoting sports turf research and distributing scientific and practical knowledge relating to the management of turfgrass athletic fields at professional or university/college stadiums, public/private school systems, and park & recreation facilities.   The South Carolina Sports Turf Managers Association is a non-profit, organization of professionals combining scientific agronomic principles with technical expertise to develop and maintain safe and aesthetically pleasing playing surfaces for ALL levels of play. Our Chapter offers its members the opportunity to meet regularly to discuss and develop athletic field programs and share their expertise to best serve athletes at all levels.
