Projects include:
Health Clinics and Medical Missions. ACF USA has developed specific and targeted intervention programs to address healthcare needs in Africa. We organize, sponsor and underwrite short-term medical missions in remote parts of countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Republic of Benin, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Uganda, Central African Republic, Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Malawi. For long term sustainability we have built and are currently equipping three medical clinics, one in Sierra Leone and two in Uganda.
Economic Empowerment. ACF USA invests in helping Africans become productive and self-sufficient citizens through sustainable initiatives in agricultural development, water projects (boreholes), and extending microloans to unemployed women and youth to help them start businesses.
Education Sponsorship. ACF USA sponsors students at the primary, secondary, technical school and university levels. Beneficiaries are often the first in their families to attain formal education beyond the primary school level.
