A raunchy, beachy, open mic night to celebrate this amazing mama-to-be! Join us in celebrating Cristine Blanco & her tiny human <3 We’re planning a special evening with food, games, and an open mic talent show!! ***This is a SURPRISE party so make sure to, in the wise words of Silk Sonic, shut yo trap*** When: Saturday July 24, 2021 at 4:00 pm (We plan to “surprise” her at 5pm; come early to make art, take photos at a photo booth, and more!). Where: 2925 Carlsen St. Oakland, CA 94602 (take the steps on the left of down to the backyard) What: Potluck style celebration - please RSVP and sign up on this spreadsheet for a dish/item to bring by Tuesday, July 20th. Bring your own beer, lawn chair, and blanket! Optional $5-$10 donation to our planning and decoration committee. Send venmo to @grecia-rojas-1. We will have an open mic with performances. Bring a poem to read, sing a song, dance a dance, or perform/speak in any way to honor Cristine and her motherhood journey! Sign up for the open mic here (second tab). As we are still in a pandemic (aka a panoramic, panini, ponde replay, etc.), this event will be outdoors with a max capacity of 25 people. Please do not bring a guest unless you have already arranged this with one of the event organizers. For everyone’s safety, please also take a moment to read our COVID-19 guidelines.
