Customer Service: Pro Shop Staff (Los Gatos) Los Gatos Swim & Racquet Club is currently accepting applications for Pro Shop Staff / Racquet stringer. Qualifications and Requirements: - Experience in a customer service industry/ position is highly desirable - Excellent communication skills - Neat and clean in appearance - Professional, yet friendly manner - Hospitality oriented - Enthusiastic - Responsible - Self-motivated, takes initiative - Team player General Duties: - Work with the Director of Tennis and Pro Shop Manager in administrative duties. - Courteously and efficiently provide exceptional service to all members, guests and employees. - Demonstrates a consistent positive attitude toward members, staff, and management. - Perform functional tasks for the operations of the tennis department, including assigning courts to member players & filling tennis clinics. - Perform clerical duties including handling phone calls, creating flyers, and data entry some computer skills required. - Sell and promote Pro Shop items. - Maintain an up-to-date, well-informed and precise knowledge of the policies, procedures, events, activities, information related to the tennis department. Hours: Part-time position approximately 15 hours per week Must be able to work weekends 8am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm and one weekday shift 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Compensation: $14.00 per hour.
