Description

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Atlantic Avenue will see some disruption over the next three weeks as part of a tree-planting project approved at Marblehead town meeting. Under Article 9, trees will be planted along the avenue from Nos. 21 to 59. The three-week project was expected to begin on Monday, weather permitting. As part of the planting, some of the existing asphalt will be removed, curbing will be reset and new sidewalks and brick borders will be added once the trees are in place. Cassidy Landscaping of Woburn will be doing the work. "Thank you for your patience during the construction process," the town said. Anyone with questions or concerns should contact the Marblehead Highway Department at 781-631-1750. Did you find this article useful? Invite a friend to subscribe to Patch.
