Hello, I have a gorgeous 2015 (6 year old) OTTB gelding for re-homing. I got him off the racetrack in 2019, and haven't had as much time to devote to him as I originally thought. He runs a bit hot and is a bit quirky, but with consistent work (and ground work) he's great to ride. He definitely is more GO than woah. He is super soft in his mouth and is very comfortable at all 3 gaits. I frequently ride him in a rope halter. He does have a swelling on his knee - my vet diagnosed this as a carpal hygroma and recommended not to drain it if it was not bothering him. He's had it a year and has not seemed to bother him with the light work he has been in. He is also currently barefoot. I am extremely negotiable on adoption price to the perfect home. I could see him thriving with low level consistent work, although I've always thought he'd make a great barrel racer (he has the build for it, IMO).
