BURLINGTON, MA — A student from Burlington was awarded a National Merit Scholarship Monday, the Scholarship Corporation announced. Chun-Wen Ko, who attends Northfield Mount Hermon, won a National Merit Scholarship sponsored by Bowdoin College. McCormack's probable career field is unknown. The Scholarship Corporation announced over 1,000 college-sponsored scholars Monday, joining 3,100 others named in June and several thousand other scholarships sponsored by businesses or by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
