We are looking for experienced 12 Volt technicians that can be trained to install an ignition interlock device (car breathalyzer) Must have excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. You'll also enjoy a Monday through Friday, 9-5:30 schedule with overtime possibilities. This position will include splitting time between multiple locations (West Allis, Waukesha and possibly Oak Creek)
Ignition interlocks (IIDs) prevent the engine-start of a client's vehicle if alcohol is present in their breath sample. Our primary duties as an organization are to install, service, and monitor ignition interlock devices for those convicted of an OWI. Installers have both technical and administrative duties:
Technical
-Install and remove ignition interlock devices from a variety of vehicles (similar to remote-start installation)
-Perform occasional mobile installations, removals, and service work using your own vehicle; mileage compensation provided; MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
-Service returning clients on a bi-monthly basis
Administrative
-Take payments using QuickBooks Online (includes training)
-Have new clients sign contracts and paperwork, teach them how to use the unit
-Keep shop clean and organized
-Monitor inventory and supplies at your shop and order more when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
