SILVER SPRING, MD — A man was killed and and several others were injured in a car crash on Fairland Road in Silver Spring early Monday morning, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer said in a tweet.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. and caused one of the cars to overturn, trapping one passenger and ejecting another. Fairland Road was closed between Serpentine Way and Tamarack Road, but reopened around 8:45 a.m., according to WTOP Traffic.
