FOCUS GROUP/MOCK JURY (Mobile County, AL) A local law firm is scouting perspective mock jurors who would like to participate in a Confidential Focus Group that will be taking place in the Mobile area on July 15, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. and will take about three to four (3-4) hours or less. The individuals will be presented with real case facts and asked to render a verdict. A signed waiver will be required by each participant (authorizing the agency to videotape them during the presentation and deliberation process -- videotapes will remain confidential.) A detailed Juror Questionnaire will be filled out by each participant prior to the start of the Focus Group. The participant must be 19 years of age or older, and a legal resident of Mobile County, Alabama. Proof of residency may be required. If you are employed in the legal field (attorney, secretary, paralegal, investigator, or any other position) or have participated in one of our mock juries in the last month, you are not eligible to participate (please accept our apologies). Refreshments will be provided. The compensation per participant will be paid in CASH when the Focus Group is complete. The compensation averages around $50 for the entire duration of the focus group. Each person’s temperature will be taken at the door, anyone with a temperature over 100.0 will not be allowed to enter. Masks are required, if you do not have one, then one will be provided to you. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the room. We encourage everyone to frequently use the hand sanitizer throughout the duration of the focus group.
