Join Councilwoman Julien for the below events: Are you going off to college in the fall? Register for the OFF TO COLLEGE TRUNK GIVEAWAY: August 07, 2021 | 10AM - 12PM at Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex. College bound students will have a chance to receive items such as laptops, refrigerators and microwaves. Quantities are limited and will be issued based on the students' needs. Happening right after is the BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT for elementary to high school students: August 07, 2021 | 12PM - 2PM at Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex. This event will include: Book bag giveaway Free hair cuts Access to a Primary Care Physician providing back to school physical examsLight refreshmentsEligibility: Students attending college must provide a college acceptance letter for Summer 2021 or Fall 2021. Parents of students in elementary through high school must provide verification that the student attends a school within the City of Miami Gardens.
