Our dry cleaners is looking for someone to join our team for the below position: Location: Downtown Sacramento (16th Street) Hours: Tuesday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm *Please note if you are currently on unemployment benefits, this position is part-time hours so you will be able to continue receiving benefits as these are reduced hours. *Possibility of additional hours once unemployment benefits end in September. Duties Include: • Front desk/cash register duties helping customers drop off / pick up clothes • Putting tickets on new items • Arranging the completed items by customer name (wrapping & assembly) • Dress shirt cleaning preparation, name check, and other general duties. *All duties can be taught no prior experience necessary but retail experience preferred *NO use of machinery required Requirements: • Punctual • Good with customers • Reliable • Organizational skills will be useful in this role • Attention to detail Compensation: $14 an hour to start with the possibility of a raise after the probationary period. In general this is a pretty relaxed position as the first half of the day you will see maybe 3-5 customers per hour, up until the afternoon when the deliveries come then assembly (matching clothes to the customer's name) before the day is over.
