WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports: Disorderly conduct Matthew Yeager, 35, of Western Springs, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of Commonwealth Avenue on charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. According to a police report, he was arrested after a domestic incident. He was released on bond. Driving violations Tracy L. White Jr., 30, of Haynesville, Alabama, was cited about noon Wednesday at Grand Avenue and 55th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was released on bond. Fireworks damage Unidentified youths lit off fireworks that damaged a Waste Management portable toilet about 12:30 a.m. July 5 in the 1200 block of Hillgrove Avenue. Pills stolen Several pills from a resident's prescription medication container were stolen from a house about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of Central Avenue. Hit-and-run crash A car struck another car about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Walgreens parking lot. The offending driver drove away, rather than exchange insurance information or make an accident report. Pole damage A streetlight pole was reported damaged June 27 near a parking lot in the 4400 block of Central Avenue. The pole was leaning, and the light fixture was on the ground. Bicycle stolen A locked bicycle was stolen about 6:30 p.m. June 30 in the 900 block of Burlington Avenue. It was parked under the canopy at the train depot. The bike is valued at $150. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
