Description
NORRISTOWN, PA — Some families in the Norristown Area School District can get a rebate on their taxes, if they qualify under the parameters set by the school board in the new program.
School officials approved a property tax rebate program back in May that could provide a check of up to $195 to qualifying families.
Applicants must have a household income of no more than $35,000, and must also fulfill one of three other requirements: be 65 or older, be a widow 50 or older, or be permanently disabled and 18 or older.
The district's program grants a 30 percent rebate.
For details on the program, see online here.
