Description
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Doylestown at Dusk Car Show will take place in the borough this Saturday, July 17, from 5 to 10 p.m.
West State Street from Main Street to West Street will be closed to traffic and parking, as will West Court Street from Main Street to Franklin Street, beginning at 2 p.m. All side streets intersecting with West State and West Court streets will also be barricaded to prevent access.
The 2020 car show was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It opened with a tribute to Bruce Rutherford, a prominent community figure in Doylestown who passed away in December. The Doylestown man was the co-owner of Rutherford's Camera Shop, an active volunteer and a classic car enthusiast.
Rutherford was known for organizing the annual car show and donating proceeds from the event to local charitable organizations, including the Doylestown Rotary Club, the Boy Scouts of America Bucks County Council and the Doylestown Lions Club.
Event registration is sold out, but the event is free to attend.
