Press release from the Guilford County Government: 07/12/2021 Guilford County Parks is excited to announce the Guilford County Farm is now on the Visit NC Farms App. Visitors can use the app to explore the farm, farmers markets and local restaurants that are off the beaten path and unique to each community. "We encourage everyone to download the app today and start visiting the farm and other local agriculture-based venues," said John Gladstone, Parks Supervisor. "The County Farm is an asset and we want more people to get out here and explore it for themselves". The Visit NC Farms App helps people find unique and interesting places to visit. The App will provide information on a variety of agriculture opportunities from pick-your-own vegetables and produce to vineyards and wineries to eating and drinking establishments that source local ingredients. Information will include details concerning the operation, hours of operation, and driving directions. The App recently updated to include locally made itineraries and trips. Gladstone will lead a tour of the Guilford County Farm on Saturday, July 17 at 9 a.m. Interested people can register to attend on the Parks' website. The tour will highlight the history of the farm, hiking trails, greenhouses, vineyards, fishing ponds, and much more.  Visit the App Store and download the Visit NC Farms App today!
