TEMPE, AZ — Arizona State University junior shortstop Drew Swift became the first Sun Devil to hear his name called in the 2021 MLB Draft on Monday afternoon. The redshirt senior, who finished his four-year playing career in Tempe with seven home runs, 89 RBIs and 167 hits, was drafted by the Oakland Athletics with the 248th pick of the 2021 draft.
