TUSCALOOSA, AL — The "all clear" has been given after a herd of cows wandered on to Interstate 20/59 Monday afternoon, forcing transportation officials to close all eastbound lanes near the Highway 11 exit in Vance.
According to the Alabama Department of Transportation, the call of animals in the roadway was received at 2:08 p.m. and by 3 p.m., ALDOT reported that that the cows had been moved and all lanes had been reopened.
Thankfully, there have been no reports of injured cattle following the incident.
