TUSCALOOSA, AL — A West Alabama prosecutor has been tapped as the first Black president of the Alabama District Attorneys Association. According to wire reports, District Attorney Michael W. Jackson — whose district covers Bibb, Dallas, Hale, Perry, and Wilcox counties — was sworn in last week for his one-year term.
