Overview: Cash-Wa Distributing is the largest privately held broad-line food distributor in the Midwest. An important part of our warehouse staff, this position will report directly to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities: - Performs a variety of activities to keep warehouse clean and in orderly condition - Grounds maintenance as required by season, including mowing and sidewalk snow removal and de-icing - Help building maintenance technicians with projects as assigned - Operates pallet jacks and scissor lift as necessary to complete duties - Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications: - Two years related experience preferred - Must be able to read and write in English as relates to safety and performance of job - Must have valid Class D driver’s license Essential Job Functions: - Constant stand/walk during 8 hour shift - Constant bend/twist at waist/knees/neck while performing assigned duties - Frequent lifting 10-50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs.; carrying short distances - Constant use of both hands and arms while performing duties - Constant use of both hands in repetitive grasping - Ability to see and hear as relates to driving and warehouse safety - Frequent overhead reaching - Occasional crouching, kneeling, crawling - Ability to work independently - Ability to have constant awareness of surroundings, moving equipment and other workers - Ability to work in multi-temp warehouse from -10 F in freezer to 55 F in dry areas of warehouse CWD is an EEOC employer and considers all applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, veteran status, disability, or any other basis protected by law.
