Hi Madison, Is your band looking to record, but want to keep it on the cheap, weird, and experimental side? I am a local musician/producer with a pretty good home recording studio. Lots of advanced hobbyist-level experience both on the recording and production sides of things. I've recorded things the traditional way for a long time, but now I want to challenge some conventions and try something different. I'm in search of a local band willing to take a leap of faith, and record some crazy shit with me. I want to take a very non-traditional, experimental, and open-minded approach. No holds barred, meaning whatever is fun and works. (This of course also means that you have to have the spirit of adventure and a willingness to try new things; if the thought of changing your song in any way upsets you, this is probably not for you. If you're trying to achieve mainstream success, this is also probably not for you.) I have a fair collection of digital and analog gear we could use as well. The basic idea is this: if your songs are sketches, I want to turn them into photographs. Weird, unexpected, and challenging photos, but artistic and enjoyable as well. Interested?
