Self-portrait Photos Needed for National Awareness Campaign. Nationally recognized charitable organization that creates human hair wigs for women (men and children as well) suffering from hair loss due to severe medical conditions (cancer, burn victims, etc) has embarked on an awareness campaign, and production of a special film project, in conjunction with an emerging woman-lead band. For this project, a unique photo shoot is being conducted in order to capture specific shots for a powerful pictorial for the above mentioned timely and extremely important subject matter. These stills and ‘live’ stills will be of women survivors – whether from abuse and suffering, or homelessness, cancer or other medical health issues; be it physical, mental, circumstantial or otherwise. All in support of Hair We Share and various women’s groups and foundations, as well as educational entities supporting/advising on the same subject. This is not a competition for the best photo and no there will be no judgement of style and or quality of photo and everything will be handled with the utmost sensitivity. Feel free to enclose a selfie or professionally shot photograph of yourself. Once a photo is sent, a simple photo release will be furnished with more detail about the project. This is a project about resilience, empowerment and the incredible journey of women survivors Nationwide.
