Description
Perform construction field testing, observation, of construction materials. Communicate with project manager, and others as applicable regarding project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements. Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily transmittal. Adhere to strict safety standards.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Under close supervision of higher-level technicians or staff professionals, assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observation duties.
Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
Submits documentation daily and communicates results as directed.
Maintains assigned equipment.
Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
Perform pre-task planning prior to executing work.
Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standard on all projects.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
Requires lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying objects; may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:High school or equivalent (Required)
License: American Concrete Institute (ACI) Level 1 (Preferred)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
