Hello I am currently in search of some breeder Rats, Fancy/Show Mice, and African Soft Fur Rats. Please read all before messaging me, because I do not want to waste my time or yours on a misunderstanding about what I am asking. I know these exotic pets are not cheap and I am not looking to make a profit, I would like to build on the foundation of others hard work with continuing to work towards more healthy, sweet natured rodents with longer lives. What I am looking for in Rats: -Black Eye White -Tabby/Mearl -Burmese -Tonkinese -Dwarf -Odd eye (Red/Ruby specifically) I am looking for 6 males and 12 females. What I am looking for in Mice: -Splash -Mearl -Odd Eye -Tricolor -Roan -Hairless I am looking for 6 males and 20 females. What I am looking for in ASFRs: I would like some that are either Black eyed white or almost completely white. I am looking for 2 males and 6 females. I am looking to start breeding exotic/small pocket pets again. I have been working towards getting all the necessary supplies to breed and house them properly. I feed Muzuri Rodent f6 block for all 3 species as a staple diet avalible 247 every day, they also get 1cup per cage of special homemade treaty food mix scattered for enrichment. I will be using critter nation singles for breeding rats, 20gallon tanks to breed mice, and 40gallon tanks to breed ASFRs. The cages will be filled with enrichment such as hammocks, chews, hides, ledges, wheels and PC tubes etc. I will not be over breeding or leaving the male rats/mice in with the female rats/mice. The moms will be moved and housed in nursing tubs, they will also go on cool down to take a break before being bred again. Rats will only be bred 2 times and mice will only be bred 3 times before retiring as a pet only. I'm gonna be real and state most if not all will be pet only but some babies will end up as snake food. As for ASFRs they like staying in large family groups so I will be keeping them together and sorting out as needed. The majority of these guys will probably go as snake food because they are prolific breeders and as far as I know most are not super friendly but I am only looking for 2males and 6females. I do cull using the FDA approved CO2 method for any rodent 4weeks and older and I also cull using another FDA approved cervical dislocation method for any rodent 3weeks or younger because I do not approve of the freezing method for babies 3weeks and younger. Willing to travel up to 200miles and pay well for the right ones. I am looking to build on what you have and expand on them. I will also be starting a pedigree/paper trail for them that includes family trees (genetics ect). I want to breed right and keep everyone healthy, happy and sweet.
