Years ago when that phrase was phased in I began to wonder how insane gun ownership would become. I read a post recently stating that hand guns killed more people then assault rifles and therefore there was nothing wrong with assault rifles. Creating arguments over how, when, why or what a gun does or doesn't do to kill totally takes the mind away from the truth.....which is.....that there would be a lot less dead Americans if we controlled who owns guns, including who makes them, sells them, or trades them. There are organizations out there whose sole purpose is to arm anyone who wants armament. We scream at the injustice of supermarket rampage yet turn our backs on the slaughter house called Chicago where the slums have become war zones. It's all the same. People getting killed by guns. Not the virus, not knives or clubs....guns. And to think that we allow it to continue is actually people killing people.
