I think people still talk about Trump for several reasons. A. Trump works VERY hard to keep himself relevant. So Trump is bringing much of this on himself. B. The majority of this nation believes that Trumps presidency did long term or irreparable damage to this nation. People do not want to see him given a second chance to destroy this nation. C. Trump took what has always been basic animosity between the right and the left and exploited it to the level of anger and hatred. Trump deliberately fueled the fire between the right ant the left and now he has created a whirlwind of anger and bitterness from both sides. The anti Trump and pro Trump posts here are not all about Trump. They are about trump extremists vs. democrats of all levels. In many cases Trump is merely a symbol of animosity. D. Trump is very polarizing. No person is impartial to Trump. Every person in this nation either adores him or loathes him. E. Trump supporters here on CL continue to try to defend him and support his lunatic actions. As long as people speak in favor of Trump here, Trump haters will chime in too. People have never hated a president like they do Donald J Trump. His supporters love him, every other person globally despises him. Despite his devout following. Trump is the most hated man on earth. More people hate Trump than Putin or Kim Jong Un.
