Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation® (AHMC) has provided highway clean up and maintenance in partnership with DOT’s and local businesses for over 30 years. Position Summary: We are looking for individuals who are interested in keeping the roadways and surrounding areas clean from litter. This position will travel locally with the Field Maintenance Supervisor to collect debris from the side of the roadway on a scheduled basis. Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Have reliable transportation and be able to attend scheduled shifts Walk several miles at a time and be on their feet for the majority of their shift Communicate verbally and listen to instructions from their Supervisor Be able to lift up to 20lbs independently Be comfortable working outdoors up to 100% of the shift with exposure to varying temperatures and weather patterns **We do not work in extreme weather conditions** Be comfortable working alongside the shoulder of the highway Benefits: Working outdoors Potential ability to contribute to 401k plan after one year of service Ability to make a positive impact on your local environment and community
