Affordable Delivery Service-- Delivery Helper Job Description Seeking an energetic, responsible and friendly individual to join the delivery team at Affordable Delivery Service. Positive environment for employees where we take building relationships with our customers personally! Job duties: ï· Install furniture in customers' homes in a friendly, professional manner ï· Loads and unloads product utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages ï· Examines, and evaluates product for damages prior to delivery ï· Conducts on-the-job training for new associates ï· Load, Secure and protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise ï· Review product information to ensure it matches delivery schedule Skills and Physical Requirements: ï· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance; and maneuver and lift up to 225 lbs. repeatedly with assistance. ï· Must be able to hold a conversation in English ï· Experience with delivering & assembling home furniture ï· Must work weekends, some holidays ï· Ability to wrap and protect furniture and follow company standards of procedure Phone inquires accepted @ 817.706.6720
