Core Responsibilities • Sorts and loads animals in a productive, SAFE and efficient manner. • Uses herding board to move animals from pen to aisle. • Counts animals onto truck. • Maintains cleanliness of crew vehicles and equipment. • Respects growers’ property and equipment. • Presents good company image. • Responsible for understanding and complying with company Environmental, Biosecurity and safety policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties. • Reads and understands the company’s emergency notification process and reviews that policy at their work site. • Assists in training other loading employees as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions. • High School diploma or GED preferred. • Previous livestock handing helpful. • Ability to do hard physical labor. • Strong Commitment to teamwork. • Ability to use loading equipment and tools. • Ability to work day or night shifts. • Must be supportive of the mission of raising swine for human consumption of high quality pork products. • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
