I’m a mature bassist/guitarist (been playing since the 60’s-70’s). I’m in the Oconomowoc area, and looking for connection with a guitarist/vocalist whose interest is in a duet setup. Genre is oldies, pop, rock, country, folk. Not interested in jazz or jazzy classics, or hard rock. I major in bass, but I’ve played guitar for a LONG time, but would rather do mostly bass work, but can do decent rhythm or fill-in on guitar. I have a repertoire of about 250 songs, and have decent professional equipment. I’d prefer gigs, etc., and practice in this area. I’m by no means a youngster, but I’m a dedicated musician who loves to play small/medium venue gigs. I don’t have to depend on gigs for income, however. (I’m retired). I don’t bring baggage (no drugs, ego, and only an occasional cocktail, but not when playing). My last connection was for about 12 years with a trio (guitar, bass, Uke/guitar). We successfully played many small venues in the Waukesha/Brookfield, etc. area. We have since divided up, and I really want to continue in a similar vein. I’m open to suggestions.
