Not making a move when it feels too late can lead to a life long regret, even after all ready trying to reach out. The love is there. Show its not too late. A response: If a person has reached out before and there was no acknowledgement, especially if they reached out more than once...then it really is on the other person whose feelings softened bridge the gap. Having been in this situation myself, and having tried reaching out to my own missed connection over the years with no response, well, one reaches the conclusion that no response IS a response...and you can't burden someone who has already tried with that responsibility if you've already given that person the cold shoulder. Especially if that other person feels CL is the only path they have left in expressing those unrequited feelings.
