General Laborer needed, will train, no experience necessary. Position starts at $18-20 per hour with a 90-day review and a chance to earn incentives based on site production. Must have great attendance and good work ethic. This job is labor intensive and has a lot of room for quick advancement. Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment. Essential Duties: • Ability to lift 80-100 lbs. while working outdoors in the heat and cold. • Ensure all project work is compliant with installation standards and is being performed safely and correctly. • Promote and monitor the safety of team members. • Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures. • Clean debris, trash, and hazardous materials from construction sites • Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools. • Dig trenches as instructed. • Assist in installing drill tooling and pipe. • Place traffic signs to warn traffic of construction in process. • Clean and maintain construction equipment appropriately. • Load and unload equipment from trucks. • Fill potholes to facilitate the construction process. • Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.) • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery. • Working in congested or remote areas • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement. • Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor. • Flagging, property, or worksite restoration Must have a working vehicle to meet at warehouse location or project sites.
