Construction?Remodeler Worker Responsibilities: - preparing sites, materias, and tools - loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment - removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites - assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures and scaffolding - assisting contractors - remove, fill, or compact earth - follow instructions from supervisors - assist craft workers - ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary - perform site clean-up - working with concrete; mixing, pouring and leveling Construction Worker Job Requirements: - no formal qualification is required, although a high school diploma may be preferred - licensure to work with hazardous materials may be required - willingness to undertake training if necessary - must have a valid driver's license - be at least 18 years of age - ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks - ability to work in all weather - workers must be punctual and reliable - must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry** - be mild-tempered and a team player - be healthy, strong, and fit *employment is on contract basis **trades experience needed
