EPC has an opportunity at the Columbia, South Carolina facility for a Enterprise Processor: Role Description: •Perform audits and diagnostics on Enterprise-class equipment such as switches, routers, and servers •Assist with pulling and compiling items for sales orders •Carefully research model/part information •Diagnose error conditions on Enterprise equipment •Maintain quality of work while meeting minimum quota numbers •Available to make occasional trips to perform onsite SAN data eradication jobs Requirements: Education •High school diploma or equivalent, and/or EPC Processing experience •A college degree or technical school training in a related field are preferred but not required •One or more CompTia A+/Network+/Server+ certifications are preferred but not required Experience •Basic computer skills and able to perform user-friendly computer tasks such as print, type, and data entry •Basic understanding of SAN Array terminology & functionality are preferred but not required. •Experience using basic computer software and good typing skills •Basic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy •Basic experience with Cisco IOS command-line operations are preferred but not required Personal Skills •Detail-oriented with respect to data reporting and procedures •Self-motivated problem solver who can work well independently •Must be a team player with good people skills •Ability and willingness to follow orders carefully and work within the established chain of command •Ability and willingness to take work-related items very seriously while not taking self too seriously •Willingness to go beyond the minimum, and go the extra mile to complete tasks in a timely manner •Ability to represent EPC to on-site clientele in a winsome and professional manner Physical •Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation •Must be able to work 8 hour shifts while performing the duties of this job •Must be able to regularly bend, twist, and reach •Able to perform the essential job duties by reaching IT equipment, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and understanding the procedures set by the company Working Conditions •Warehouse temperatures can vary widely based upon local weather conditions and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit •Ability to work an environment with moderate noise levels •Should be open to working extra hours, such as weekly overtime, in a fast-paced environment For prompt consideration please apply online at: We are an equal opportunity employer committed to workforce diversity.
