While visiting West Asheville/ Bear Creek from out of state our bird flew out the door. We had her located by calls to a tree then the rain started and haven't heard anything. Waffles is a beautiful pale yellow with an orange circle on each cheek and a green band on her leg. She may visit your feeder for seed. She will perch on your finger if you tell her to "step up." She loves to perch on your shoulder. Waffles belongs to a teen with autism who is devastated. He trained her and socialized her. He is her flock. Please let us know if you see her. Thank you.
