Job Description: MH Solutions, LLC has been providing field surveying for telecommunications companies since 2007 and we are rapidly growing. Our clients are design firms across the country; some of our customers include Verizon, AT&T, and Comcast just to name a few. We are currently seeking dependable individuals who are technically-savvy with a strong attention to detail to join our team. The primary function of the job is to survey telecommunication poles and input data regarding pole connections. We identify CATV, fiber optic, phone, and electric lines. Data is inputted via an app on a smart device such as a phone or tablet. Check out our website for a better idea of what we do and what a typical day looks like. Job Requirements: The right candidate can quickly learn a new process as we hope to complete training within 6 days, if not sooner. Most candidates complete training within 4 days. We pay an hourly rate for training. Our current training plan is: • Days 1-2: Follow behind trainer and take notes/ask questions • Days 3-4: Work independently with work reviewed at the end of each day by trainer • Days 5-6: Work with trainer shadowing behind to review any opportunities/correct any issues Candidates must be able to: • Input data on an app on their own device (smart phone or tablet) • Work independently • Work outside in most weather elements • Walk 3+ miles per day in various terrain types, include rough terrain • Travel between work locations with a reliable vehicle in complete working condition (current work is across North Carolina with training in Franklin and Asheville areas) • Promptly and clearly communicate any questions or issues Candidates must have: • Strong critical thinking skills • High attention to detail • A smart phone or tablet with cell service • A reliable vehicle • Availability to work at least 40 hours per week • The ability to assess, analyze, and make educated decisions • A drive for success through self-motivation, time management, and a positive attitude A lot of our work is in the Midwest and Southern states, and opportunities for additional work exist upon completion of this project. We anticipate working throughout North Carolina for the next 4-5 years, and we also have a project in Ohio/Michigan area. Our employees are contractors receiving a 1099 at year-end and are in complete control of their income since it is production-based. It's very possible to invoice $4k for a week's worth of work within the first month!
