RESEARCH STUDY INVOLVING INSOMNIA TREATMENT. Men and women between the ages of 40 and 59 who have been exposed to a traumatic event and have trouble falling or staying asleep may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted at Duke University Medical Center. The purpose of the study is to examine the impact of treatment for insomnia on cardiac risk factors in people with trauma exposure. The study involves up to 18 laboratory visits and may involve 8 sessions of treatment for insomnia. Participants may be compensated for participation.
