JOB DESCRIPTION
Mudtown Cleaning is a small house cleaning business that specializes in short term rental turnovers (like Airbnbs). We are looking for one or two more part time employees who would like to work 15-30 hours per week.
A typical work day begins at 9am with a morning house clean. Then, from 11am onwards you'd do anywhere from 1 to 4 Airbnb turnovers. A work day typically ends around 4pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
When you do a short term rental turnover, you are resetting the space between guests. This usually involves doing the laundry, remaking the bed(s), restocking supplies, taking out the garbage, professionally cleaning the place top to bottom, then carefully re-staging the space according to the client's specifications. When you are done, you've created a space that is pristine, warm, and inviting.
QUALIFICATIONS
You do not have to have house cleaning or staging experience. You do need to be dependable, hard working, and detail-oriented. But more importantly, we are looking for people who have an eye for aesthetics, who take pride in their work, and who always strive to get better at their craft. If you have those qualities, it doesn't matter if you've never cleaned a stove or made a bed or folded a fitted sheet before. We will be happy to teach you.
