Cat Advice/Help -Please !!

Hello all,I am Eric and well about two months ago I've been noticing a MALE TABBY cat hanging out at the side of my home,He looked skinny so I started buying cans of cat food/dry food etc,Now he's at my Garage door every morning! Like clock work and now he follow me all around..He wants to jump on my bed and tables oh and when I sit in my folding chair he'll every time sit under me, sometimes he jumps in my lap and head butts me a few times..lol..So Is it ok to let him sleep inside?? Should I try to wash him ? and should I be worried about tics or something? Also earlier I was playing with him and got up to walk away and he bit me GENTLY with a light paw scratch on my leg.what does that mean?? And he meows me like crazy If I forget his food..and he follows me to the kitchen too..Oh And how to stop his hair from getting all over the house? And will he go to the bathroom inside my home??? THX all ps this is my first cat..I don't have litter box or brushes/ do I need toys for him too?? Thx.. New to the cat world here👍
