Let's Play Tennis! The Kelly Johnson Foundation is hosting its 8TH annual JOHNSON SUMMER CLASSIC on August 7 & 8! Let's Play Tennis! The Kelly Johnson Foundation is hosting its 8TH annual JOHNSON SUMMER CLASSIC on August 7 & 8th! We are at Hart Park in Wauwatosa this year! TOURNAMENT LOCATION: HART PARK 7300 W Chestnut St Wauwatosa, WI 53213 FOR OUR 8th ANNIVERSARY -- 8 SINGLES DIVISIONS, with scoring format of 8-game Pro Sets! CHOOSE FROM 8 DIVISIONS: Men's Singles (NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) Women's Singles (NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5) Trophies will be presented to winners in each division! Men's & Women's! We will also award one player the Sportsmanship award during the tournament! ***PLEASE NOTE, EACH DIVISION IS LIMITED CAPACITY TO 16 PLAYERS (FIRST COME FIRST SERVE) MEN'S & WOMEN'S FORMAT: First Match, Loser’s Consolation. Each player is guaranteed at least 2 matches in their division. PLAYER ENTRY: $30 per player. All proceeds go towards our Johnson Family Scholarship program. This May, we awarded 2 high school scholarship for the Class of 2021 in WI! We appreciate the support! THIS IS A TWO-DAY EVENT (All divisions start on Saturday and conclude Finals on Sunday if necessary) TOURNAMENT WEBSITE: http://www.kjfwi.org/events/johnson-summer-classic/ TOURNAMENT BALL SPONSOR: Wilson We will also recycle tennis balls after the tournament under Recycleballs program. NEW FOR 2021! We are partnering with Second Serve, another nonprofit to donate gently used tennis gear to youth tennis players in need! We will have a box on-site to collect donations! The Kelly Johnson Foundation (KJF) is a nonprofit that reaches out to local high schools in Wisconsin and Illinois that have insufficient funding for after-school athletic and extracurricular programs and scholarship opportunities. Established in September 2014 by Kelly Johnson to truly fulfill her vision in creating an organization that awards promising young leaders and groups who also take initiative to accomplish success and continue to make a difference as well in their respective community.
