Our Jubilee Festival is a day to celebrate life, family, friends and the future! We are going to make jubilant, jolly and joyful noise! JUBILEE FESTIVALMake a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.Well, it's time for men, women, boys and girls to bust loose out of isolation, loneliness, anxieties and depression. Join Catch of the Day DC Church as we return to our physical location at the RISE DEMO CENTER, 2730 MLK Jr. Ave. SE, Washington, DC in Congress Heights. Get ready to make a joyful noise! Our Jubilee Festival will set the atmosphere, tone and mood for a victorious and jubilant celebration of life, family, friends and spirit. Open your heart and meet some new people and get the drink of life! Catch the spirit, cheer, joy, happiness and gladness. Experience the jubilation and triumph! We are going to eat, drink and be merry; sound trumpets; dance and sing ourselves happy, while the DJ blast some uplifting tunes. Best of all, our senior pastor, Rev. Cornel Dunmore will give a very short homily on how to tap and experience everlasting joy! Afterwards, we will keep the live party going. Come out of your dark places, apartments, condos, homes and celebrate life, family, friends and the future with us! "Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth and you will know it in advance." (Isaiah 43:18-19) Check-In: 12:30 pm. Doors will open: 12:45 pm. Festivities begin: 1:00 pm. Trumpeters and dancers will lead the celebration at 12:45 pm. Please arrive by 12:30 pm to get the best views and seats.
