Following the success of his debut single Michaels released "Marks” atop the 2014 year, and would go on to release his debut EP "Thesis" in April of the same year, under the same alias. Releasing two more singles, one in late 2015 (Brace Yourself) and the other in early 2016 (Heavy) before going into a 8 month hiatus in which he changed his name and found a new sound. Corry Michaels arose in November of 2016 with the tropical heartbreak jam “Gone” followed by the released of his EP “Die to Me” released in July of 2017. A record based on his experiences while homeless, which he executive produced and wrote. Drawing influences from the likes of Max Martin, Beyonce, Michael Jackson and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic Michaels is creating a sound and space all his own. GABRIELLE NICOLE She and her two brothers were raised in Baltimore by a single mom who struggled financially. Gospel music was her escape and saved her from a turbulent youth. She’s lived in Cleveland for the last 8 years, and works as a dance instructor and choreographer. She plays the piano and drums, writes music and lyrics, and is a self-described diva. Her idols are Tina Turner, Prince, Beyoncé and Patti LaBelle. The Grog Shop opened in September of 1992 in the Coventry Rd. neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. Though expanded in size when moved to it’s current location in 2003, the club maintains the intimacy and raw character it has always been known for. We have a full bar with an extensive list of micro-brews, imports, and domestic beer, and of course plenty of liquor.
