Hello! I am a New Yorker, freelance video-journalist and filmmaker working with an international newspaper that has a New York City section. We are looking for local people with personal stories and experiences who would be willing to share them on camera for short documentaries for the paper. We are looking for stories that have to do with any of the following topics: -Lack of maternity leave -Lack of health insurance -Workers' rights and discrimination against workers -Immigration rights, including the struggle for families to stay together, or bring a relative into the country -The topic of gun violence/gun rights/the 2nd amendment -The topic of drugs (illegal or legal, such as opiods) We are pro BIPOC, woman, LGBT, working class, immigrant.
