THE BIGGEST LITTLE HONDA RALLY IN THE WORLD for 2021 is ON! This is a FREE EVENT! Date: Saturday, August 7th, 2021 Time: 0900 - 1300 (followed by a trail ride for lunch) Location: Big Valley Honda, 2225 Market St, Reno, NV 89502 The 2019 Rally went so well that we're going to do it again. This will happen on the Saturday of the Hot August Nights car show. A Little Honda is any Honda two-wheeler which came from the factory with a 4-stoke engine of less than 135cc displacement. This includes not only the Super Cub, but also the Mini Trails, the Grom, the Monkey, the Benly, etc. While Hot August Nights is one of the world's greatest collector car shows, taking over large parts of Reno and Sparks, Nevada, sadly lacking is any recognition of the most popular motor vehicle ever produced, the LITTLE HONDA. The first Honda Super Cub to hit the streets in 1958 spawned over 100 MILLION children, a Beach Boys hit song, and even an entirely new class of motorcycle, the "Trail Bike." In addition, the Little Honda directly led to the acceptance of motorcycles by the general public, and thus the modern motorcycle industry worldwide! We're going to bring the Little Honda to Hot August Nights, with a gathering, games, group ride to lunch, and certificates for such things as Oldest Little Honda, Biggest Little Honda Addict (that is, the person with proof of owning the most Little Hondas), farthest distance RIDDEN to the Rally, event winners, People's Choice, wildest customization, and more. We also have room for Honda Classics, those being any Honda 4-stoke motorcycle not meeting the above criteria, built before 1975. ...and, of course, if you are trying to buy or sell a little Honda, maybe this is your chance. Planned events: Soba Challenge race Slow race Parts swap Show and Shine ...and MORE! Come dressed as your favorite character from the "You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda" ad campaign (with a picture of your inspiration) for the group photo! ALL riders must wear helmets. You have the brains to buy a Little Honda, so let's protect them. NOTE: While this is taking place at the local Honda dealer, this is NOT otherwise connected to the dealer or to Honda. The folks at Big Valley Honda were kind enough to let us so the first Rally there, and they enjoyed it so much they're ready to do it again! All participants must agree to hold Big Valley Honda harmless. I heard from a number of folks last time that they didn't find out about it until it was too late. It would be nice to have so many people show up that we're taking over the whole neighborhood. And, for those who are curious, the name of the Biggest Little Honda Rally in the World IS a play on both the Brian Wilson song "Little Honda" and Reno, Nevada being "The Biggest Little City in the World"... You meet the nicest people on a Honda -- come meet some of the nicest Hondas!
