Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring harvesters to join our highly energetic, motivated and fun-loving crew. Positions available immediately through the end of October, with the possibility of work through the winter. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about produce and want to do the work necessary to provide our community with high quality organic vegetables.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work Monday through Saturday with speed, endurance, and good cheer. Hours are generally 7am to 5 or 6pm M-F and 8am-1pm every other Saturday, approximately 50 hours per week. Part time schedules (4 days/week) are also available.
Previous farm experience preferred and responsibilities include harvesting, weeding, working in the washroom, and many other field tasks. Valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail and communication, safe handling of equipment, ability to work independently and on a team, and eagerness to learn are all essential.
