Please join us in celebrating Jeanne by doing what she loved, a little golf and a lot of fun, while supporting a scholarship in her honor. The third annual Jeanne Mitchell Memorial Golf Tournament will be a 9-hole golf outing, scramble format, with prizes and activities. It will be followed by food, drink and socializing in the Mount Pleasant function hall. Since COVID restrictions have lifted, we are able to again add a dinner-only option for non-golfers. We will remember our dear friend, share cherished memories and hopefully experience more laughs than tears, as she would want. The cost includes a donation to support the Jeanne Mitchell Memorial Scholarship at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School. This year, two $2,000 scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors Alex Burnett and Odelia Teh, thanks to the generosity of last year's tournament participants and others who donated to the fund. If you are unable to join us on Sept. 1, please consider making a donation to the scholarship fund through this site, which will benefit students at the school system where Jeanne worked for many years, and her children attended. Raffle prize donations are also welcome and appreciated.
