Seeking Female Harmony Support Vocalist for established original band

Established original band and duo (guitar & piano) seek Female vocalist who is truly a natural with harmony. If you play percussion, or play a support instrument fluidly, that’s a plus as well. Our music is singer/songwriter with classic R&B influence. Think Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys all jumbled together into an Adult Contemporary Vibe. We perform as a duo, trio or full band, but want someone who really understands blending, pitch, dynamics and finesse with multi-part harmonies. We employ voices as instruments and seek someone with a skillful ear. Parts are arranged already, but there is room for creativity and contribution with new, original material. We gig 1-2x per month and rehearse 1x per week because we pride ourselves on tight arrangements. Are you a self-starter who enjoys coming to rehearsals prepared? Great – so are we! This is a professional gig with folks who are passionate about creating beautiful music and connecting with audiences. It's mostly original music with some covers (70’s-90’s) but if you're a songwriter looking for others to elevate your songs, we can help you as well.
