Camp Tule connects children to the natural world with creativity, stories, a little science, and lots of fun nature games! Do you know a special young explorer who needs to get outside and engage their senses in nature? If you answered yes, send them to Camp Tule! This summer we will be in-person, out in nature at Irwin Creek and the Laguna with the Laguna Environmental Center as our home base. Each camp day (Tuesday-Friday, 9am-1:30pm) will be filled with creativity, stories, a little science, and lots of fun nature games all designed to connect children to the natural world. Our groups will be small and our pace will allow for exploration, observation, discovery and learning about the plants and animals of the Laguna de Santa Rosa ecosystem. Our time together will be spent entirely outside and we will adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines. We look forward to adventuring with your child this summer! Limited Scholarships Available By purchasing a scholarship ticket of $50, your child has a place in Camp. However, it does not guarantee a tuition scholarship. Based on your responses on the scholarship application, you will either be given a scholarship for all or part of the remaining tuition balance, or the opportunity to pay for camp in installments. If the terms of the scholarship or payment plan are not acceptable to the family, you have the opportunity to receive a refund of the $50 application fee and to forfeit the child’s place in camp. Refund policy You may cancel participation 30 days in advance of camp for a refund minus $25.00 processing fee. If you need to cancel within 7-30 days of the first day of camp, a 50% refund will be issued. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance. The Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation works to restore and conserve the Laguna de Santa Rosa, and to inspire public appreciation for this Sonoma County Wetland of International Importance.
